- A VINTAGE BIG BAND JAZZ TRIO-

"It’s time to warm up to the Christmas season once more, and Nashville-based female trio The Ellas have been busy cooking up a festive album of all-original new songs via debut album “Season of Love,” produced by award-winning producer Dave Brainard. Featured track “Bakin’ Cookies” is as much fun as a big bundle of mistletoe, with a playful uptempo arrangement and dulcet three-part harmonies. Hearkening the timeless spirit of the Andrews Sisters, The North Pole Patrol comprises published songwriters Jennifer Denmark, Emily Shackelton and Melissa Fuller, who deliver this batch of “Cookies” with a force field of tinkling piano, jazzy sax and trumpets, as they sing: “You can bet when Santa comes, he won’t be leavin’ any crumbs. We’ll be sure he gets so much to eat, he won’t fit back up that chimney.” Perhaps it’s redundant to say this song is more fun than Christmas… but it sure puts an added sparkle in everyone's favorite season."
